Signing in
Getting an account
Section titled “Getting an account”There’s no public self-registration form. You get an account by being invited to an organisation (see Workspace & collaborators) — the sign-in page’s magic link option will create your account automatically the first time you use it with your invited email address. The very first account on a fresh deployment is created differently, through a one-time setup wizard; if you’re standing up a new deployment, see the developer docs for that.
Signing in
Section titled “Signing in”Two ways to sign in, both on the sign-in page:
- Email and password, if you’ve set a password.
- Magic link — enter your email and request a one-time sign-in link, delivered by email. No password needed, and this also creates your account the first time.
For security, the tool never reveals whether a given email address is registered — requesting a magic link always shows the same “if that email is registered, a link is on its way” message, whether or not an account exists for that address.
Confirming your email
Section titled “Confirming your email”If email confirmation is enabled for this deployment, you’ll get a confirmation email after your account is first created. Click the link to verify your address — you’ll be signed in and taken to your dashboard automatically. A verified email is required before you can accept an organisation invitation.
